INTRODUCTION

Nestling in the lush green hills of Le Marche Region, surrounded by nature and overlooking the sparkling Adriatic coast, this castle venue is rural chic at its very best.

Here you really can turn your dreams into reality and make reality seem like an never ending dream !

This is a completely new wedding venue for us for our 2013/2014 season and having just returned from the opening of this brand new and exclusive property, I still have tears in my eyes at the emotion it gave me during my visit.

I can’t wait to share it all with you but for now here are some key facts to start you off.

 

HISTORY

Dating back to the year 998 when the original castle was owned by the Archbishop of Ravenna, the castle was then seat of historical importance during the Malatesta rule.

Following many years of decline, the new owner ( a renowned Italian project designer) bought the castle in 2008 and has spent the last 5 years lovingly transforming the property into what can only be described as a true rural design concept.

Wow is the word that continually escaped by lips as I visited this amazing place earlier this morning and where a piece of my heart remains.

 

PROPERTY DETAILS

A stone’s throw from the medieval village of Gradara ( and from my own home), the 9 suites all with self catering facilities and a large swimming pool complete with BBQ facilities, is an amazing setting for a small wedding of 40-60 guests.

Some rooms are built over 2 floors and so 24-30 Guests can comfortably sleep in the venue with many more places nearby for other guests.

Each suite has its own name and theme and the design and detail has been lavished with endless love and care to make this place so unique.

 

YOUR ITALIAN WEDDING CERMEMONY

Your wedding ceremony can take place in the beautiful medieval village of Gradara with its majestic castle on the hill.

Civil ceremonies can be held in the outdoor cloisters of the convent villa or on the castle walls.

Catholic ceremonies can be held in the romantic little church within the castle walls and we have amazing Englsih speaking priets to conduct your wedding mass in Italy.

Wedding receptions for 40/60 guests can be held in the grounds of the property or you can choose to hold your reception in one of the many venues nearby using the castle retreat as accommodation only for nearest and dearest family and friends.

SURROUNDING AREA

 

This location really does give you the best of both worlds.

 

You have the choice of spending your days in splendid isolation between the lush green countryside and small villages or by the sea in small coves and isolated beaches along the spectacular and panoramic San Bartolo National Park.

 

For those of you searching for a more lively atmosphere, the cosmopolitan resorts of Cattolica and Riccione are also close by .

 

In my opinion, it combines the best of what you would get from a wedding in Tuscany with a wedding on the Amalfi coast but with a far less commercial approach and a much more authentic Italian feel.

OVERALL SUMMARY

No amount of photos or words can ever do justice to this venue and I could talk about it for hours.

It really is important that you come and visit it for yourselves. You won't want to leave !

 

In our opinion, this venue is a blank canvas for you to design your Wedding in Italy.

The possibilities are endless and range from an elegant and refined event to a wedding in Italy with a rustic and homely feel.

 

Caterers are required at this venue and we have a wide range of chefs on offer to suit all tastes and budgets.

There is a small rustic family run trattoria just outside the venue with many more restaurants and bars in nearby Gradara or down on the coast in Cattolica,Gabicce and Pesaro.

 

Miles of fine golden sandy beaches and more isolated and secluded coves are within a 10 minute drive and activities are endless for your guests who can easily turn your wedding event into a real holiday in Italy.

 

3 International airports are all within an hours drive from this venue.

 

Not only will you be blown away by this venue but also pleasantly surprised at how great value it is.
